Airtel wanted to maximize its sponsorship of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) in Dubai by creating high-impact, shareable content that would connect the brand with celebrity culture. The objective was not just visibility during the show, but also to reinforce Airtel’s positioning as a premium connectivity provider through engaging experiences linked to its routers and network performance.
Approach
Plan Digital deployed its exclusive Glambot system across two days of red-carpet coverage during SIIMA. Using a high-speed robotic arm and Phantom camera, we created cinematic, slow-motion videos of celebrities and award winners. The on-site production pipeline enabled quick turnarounds, allowing talent and Airtel to instantly share content across digital platforms.
To integrate the sponsorship message, the Glambot activation was branded with Airtel, reinforcing the link between cutting-edge video technology and Airtel’s high-speed connectivity solutions. Content emphasized seamless performance and reliability, mirroring the value of Airtel’s routers and network.
